In general, I tend to see that there are four general styles ~ casual, glamorous, slutty and girlie. Of course you can have elements of one in the other, but to me, each style is distinctive. I think today I will talk about casual and glamorous. Tomorrow, slutty and girlie.
Getting Your Girl On With a Casual Style
I am a more casual gal. I rarely wear makeup, I prefer jeans and tank tops, my workout clothes and loungewear. Don’t for one minute think that casual is grubby. It is a style unto itself ~ not a nonstyle. Makeup is simple or clean faced ~ allowing for natural beauty to shine. My hair is usually up in a ponytail or just allowed to fall down my back. I keep it healthy and trim so little or no fuss is needed. And my pretty pedicured feet are bare. Casual is all about being comfortable in your own skin.
Getting Your Girl On With a Glamorous Style
Now just because I am a casual gal doesn’t mean I do not love to getting dressed to the 9’s. A killer pair of heels, a designer dress that fits like a glove, not a hair out of place ~ glam is all about the details. Fine details. Nothing but the best. Time is taken. The process is enjoyed as much as the results. And the results are to be enjoyed. Think of it as an event! Whether that event is a special occasion or just an evening celebrating your fabulousness, embrace it!
Tomorrow, I will look at the other sides. Glamor turned slutty and casual all cutesy and girlie! Check back!
Until next time!
Hugs,
Ms Kay Marie

Wow KayMarie our casual style looks about the same. I also loved getting dressed up go out to a fine dinner and some dancing. What is so great is when I am out with a very tall gentleman. When I wear heels I am taller than everyone in the restaurant.
I used to think that getting in touch with my feminine side was all about what Kay describes as glamorous. Kay you’ve really helped me understand the pleasures of the casual style – omg I’m loving it! I feel so natural and feminine in my loungewear – typically a bralette, low armhole tank and yoga leggings. I feel just as girlie (if not more) in my casual wear. Thanks Kay, I love it!
Rikki ~ I too enjoy getting all dolled up on occasion, but mostly love my casual style. It’s great when you fine a gentleman that “fits” you!!
LDS ~ I know I have said this to you before, but to me, I feel my most feminine when I am casual. I feel confident. No make up or accessories foster my femininity ~ it’s all from within. And what is within you, is all girlie and beautiful! Enjoy it.
Ms. Kay, I love the contrast of your casual verses your glam!
I absolutely lean toward a classic casual style, filled with cute, short dresses and sandals or wedge heels. That is my casual day to day style! But I also LOVE to glam it up! I think it is important to get totally dolled up from time to time. It always makes one feel so very sexy!
🙂 Ms. Delia
I definitely lean toward a glam style: vintage lingerie, corsets, hosiery, heels, dresses, gowns, blouses, skirts—I’m very, very rarely in pants, and I don’t even own shorts (not kidding). I’ll occasionally go a little more casual or classic, but it’s always a bit dressy. I love the feel of fabrics draped along my body, all that glitters, the click of high heels, and the transformational power of cosmetics. I’m very confident & comfortable in my bare skin, and bare face, but I’m also too much of a hedonist not to relish the luxury and sensual indulgence of being pampered head to toe from the skin out.
Ms Lilly ~ I love a gal that can get her glam on all the time. You definitely do deserve the nothing but the best.
